We, as the PRC legal advisor, advised a Singapore bank on its REIT (“Real Estate Investment Trust”) project. It is the first RETI project involving Property owned by PRC beneficiaries in the Singapore Stock Exchange. The Properties are located in several provinces. The restructuring exercise is quite complicated due to the new rules on foreign investment in real estate.
