Jacky Zou specialises in capital markets, foreign direct investment as well as mergers and acquisitions. Jacky is experienced in corporate investment and financing and he is familiar with various modes of mergers and acquisitions. He was a member of the Shanghai Stock Exchange’s project team for research of legal issues in relation to mergers and acquisitions by foreign companies in China.
He has maintained a good relationship with foreign and domestic investment banks, financial advisers and strategic and venture investment funds, and he is well acquainted with the practices of capital operations. He also has a good record in providing comprehensive legal services for enterprises as well as assisting in the setup of cooperative platforms for corporate investment and financing.
He has acted for overseas listing projects such as the listing of Jiutian Chemical Group, Dutech Holdings, ChinaSunsine etc. He has provided legal services for foreign merger and acquisition projects. One example would be acquisition by Qiangen (a Fortune 500 listed German Company) of a subsidiary of the San Jiu Group. He has also contributed to pre-IPO private placement and post-listing targeted placement before and after the listing of domestic enterprises.
Jacky has acted for the issuance of offshore real estate investment trust involving assets and interests in China and acted for Sunway Real Estate (China) Limited in its subscription of registered capital in one domestic real estate company. His professional experience also includes acting for trust investment projects for domestic trust companies such as Shanghai International Trust and Investment Co., Ltd and acting for the issuance of Huabao Xingye securities investment fund.
